Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, plans, organizes, and develops simple to moderately complex instructional content for eLearning and instructor led courses.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Creates and designs training content for use with web-based, instructor-led, and self-study media.
  • Utilizes instructional design principals to design, develop, assess, and deliver routine training tools & courses.
  • Develops instructional content; interacts with subject matter experts (SME) and other team members to plan and determine curriculum scope requirements; selects appropriate methods to meet identified needs.
  • Develops participant and leader training guides, quick reference cards, and other related course material.
  • Conducts substantial testing of material content, validates instructional content, and corrects inconsistencies.
  • Coordinates efforts with the Learning Business Partners and ensures existing course materials are current and relevant to training needs.
  • Tracks, measures, and analyzes results of training programs, utilizes feedback and data to improve course material and design.
  • Monitors best practices in instructional design and identifies products or practices to improve customer application training.
  • Participates in Train-the-Trainer program.
  • Provides instruction and guidance to trainers as necessary.
  • Resolves moderately complex problems.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Learning Development or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum Experience:

2 years of experience in instructional content development and adult learning. Internet based platform experience is preferred. Experience in either SymTrain or a similar AI coaching or Conversation tool highly preferred

  • Organizational skills and the ability to develop and adhere to a plan
  • Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box

  • Interpersonal savvy

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Proficient using web-based training platforms
  • Project management skills
  • Proficient using the following software packages: Captivate, Photoshop, Publisher, Learning applications.
