Under administrative direction, assess training needs and design, develop, organize, and implement company training solutions and educational programs personally or with the assistance of outside training consultants or internal subject matter experts. The position requires the employee to monitor and/or modify training methods and procedures currently in use, and plan and establish new methods and procedures of training as required. Also responsible to maintain knowledge of instructional strategies and technologies by attending workshops, classes on training, reviewing training publications, and networking. Must have excellent communication and writing skills.

What you will be doing:

  • Consults with business partners to accurately assess training needs and determine effective performance solutions that are aligned with business objectives and delivered within applicable resource constraints.
  • Designs and develops training and training materials for self-directed, instructor-led (virtual and in-person) and e-Learnings, including instructional guides, multimedia visual aids, job aids, reference tools, and evaluation instruments. Works with subject matter experts and Compliance/Legal to ensure materials are accurate and complete.
  • Administers programs by personally facilitating training sessions and coordinating training implementation and delivery, including scheduling learning sessions and maintaining training program and attendance records.
  • Participates as key member of project teams and attends regular meetings to support new product introduction and process and technology innovation to ensure training programs are developed and ongoing resources are in place for employees.
  • Constructs Level I-III instruments for soliciting training feedback and evaluating training results and measuring program success.
  • Supports HR and L&D programs and initiatives, including employee onboarding, as needed

Who you are:

  • 4 Year Bachelors Degree education, instructional design or other applicable degree is required.
  • Graduate Degree instructional design, adult learning or other applicable degree is preferred.
  • 3 years of Instructional Design or Adult Learning experience is required.
  • Working understanding of ADDIE Instructional Design model and Department processes, templates and deliverables.
  • Working understanding of Needs Assessment and Evaluation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Theories
  • Skilled in eLearning design and development.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage participation during virtual and in-person training sessions.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent human relations, communication, and business writing skills
  • High level of accuracy and great attention to detail.
  • Confident and effective facilitation skills in virtual and in-person setting. Expertise in eLearning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate preferred).
  • Knowledge of: Adobe Products (Acrobat), Microsoft 365
  • Preferred knowledge of: Vyond and Workday Learning

Salary: $68,640-100,000 annual

Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
