In This Role, You Will

  • Lead in designing adult learning strategies and solutions to meet business needs and identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities
  • Analyze performance needs, and design, develop, and assess line of business specific learning solutions that are focused on technical and soft skills
  • Create and develop performance and competency-based learning and performance support solutions for a variety of technical and functional needs for a Line of Business or specific functional area
  • Consult with business partners and Learning and Development professionals utilizing knowledge of instructional design methodology to understand adult learning needs and address the impact, success, and opportunities for improvement of existing learning solutions
  • Partner with instructional design consultants and business leaders to develop performance-based learning that furthers individual development
  • Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Learning and Development Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience using multiple instructional design tools and technology (e.g., such as Captivate or Articulate)
  • 2+ years of experience using and authoring in learning content management system (LCMS)-based tools
  • Education, certification and/or other credentials in adult learning theory
  • Experience in Learning and Development in a corporate environment
  • Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated environment
  • Demonstrated project management experience related to instructional design projects
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:

  • Position Locations include: Charlotte, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Chandler, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; San Antonio, TX; Irving, TX; West Des Moines, IA
  • Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid arrangement-3 days in the office and 2 days remote
  • Required work locations listed above. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
