Job Overview

Come join our team as a Learning Experience Designer for Marketing & Communications Learning & Development. In this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to introduce new craft skills through personalized curriculum and other learning materials. Working alongside the Marketing & Communications L&D team and Subject Matter Experts, you will play a vital role in designing and accelerating the delivery of craft skill curriculum. Our team is driven, enthusiastic, and fosters a collaborative environment, dedicated to empowering M&Cs to provide exceptional customer experiences, drive business growth, and advance their careers. The ideal candidate will use human-centered design principles to create a diverse range of engaging, effective, and innovative resources for developing craft skills. They will also have a deep knowledge of adult learning theory and have expertise in instructional design tools and methods. Along with their technical abilities, the ideal candidate will excel in project management, communication, and have a “Day One” mindset characterized by a willingness to embrace change, take risks, and continuously learn.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree and formal Instructional Design degree or certification preferred
  • 5+ years of learning design experience for adults, preferably in a corporate organization
  • Ability to apply adult learning theory into relevant, engaging and delightful learning experiences
  • Strong ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas into engaging curriculums that can be leveraged in the flow of work
  • Knowledge and practical application of learner-centered design
  • Proficiency with a variety of instructional and design tools including Articulate Rise, captivate, Degreed, Canva etc
  • Curiosity to discover, define, and validate the root cause of problems
  • Creativity to develop and deliver engaging, effective learning resources
  • Highly organized and communicative project management skills
  • An appetite for lifelong learning and a willingness to teach others
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and interact frequently with senior management to help set strategic guidance
  • Demonstrated experience with developing and accelerating work with GenAI
  • Gather the most critical information needed to recommend, develop, and implement a curriculum to train various roles in our community
  • Lead, influence, and impact people at multiple organizational levels
  • Conduct needs analysis, identify new learning resources, evaluate content, and determine ongoing maintenance requirements for program sustainability (technical support and content)
  • Think strategically in complex environments
  • Track and manage issues and risks consistently, transparently, and accurately; be bold and take immediate action to mitigate or remove them effectively
  • Establish strong relationships internally and externally to facilitate successful outcomes
  • Collaborate with partners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide demos, recorded lectures, and assist in building and reviewing eLearning content
  • Expert knowledge and extensive experience of L&D industry principles, standards, concepts, practices, and systems, knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles (i.e., ADDIE, SAM), evaluation of learning (i.e., Kirkpatrick), and how to deploy
  • Proficient in Google suite, RISE, Articulate360, and Docebo tools for developing learning content
  • Strong experience using design thinking principles to understand customer needs, test and measure results is preferred
  • Proven track record of driving effective communications across all stakeholders, partners, team members to facilitate optimal collaboration and visibility, and accelerate decision-making across programs
  • Strong project/program management experience (i.e., prioritization, planning, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks) exhibiting solid end-to-end thinking
  • Develops methods for the evaluation of program effectiveness, understanding analytics to assess and evaluate key

Responsibilities

How you will lead

Learning Experience Innovator:

  • Leading initiatives that deliver curriculum from initial assessment to understanding the capabilities we want to build, identifying where we start, the plan to get there, and executing on that plan
  • Collaborating with multiple partners, including vendors, leaders, SMEs from the community and L&D team members to assess the current landscape and provide learning opportunities that will grow skills and knowledge in line with Intuit’s strategy and top priorities
  • Assess current learning materials and approaches, making recommendations to improve learner experience and increase ‌speed to proficiency
  • Facilitating and coaching in either instructor-led workshops, seminars, or virtual sessions
  • Applies design thinking, and rapid prototyping to solve customer problems
  • Creates content and experiences that engage learners with varied learning preferences and accessibility, including relevant practice to help ensure application of learning

Influential Business Partner:

  • Builds strong, trust-based partnerships and creates inclusive environments by cultivating diversity of thought
  • Understands business strategy to deliver impactful learning offerings which accelerate Intuit’s Big Bets
  • Communicates effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders to influence learning and upskilling initiatives

Data and Technology Strategist:

  • Reads, works with, and analyzes data to make confident decisions that drive business outcomes
  • Ability to extract insights from data to optimize each step of the learning journey of our customers
  • Ability to use Data storytelling to effectively communicate insights from a dataset using narratives and visualizations
  • Awareness of One Intuit L&D Tech Stack and tool/capabilities availability to solve learner use cases (e.g. Degreed, Docebo, Credly)

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $111,000-150,000, Southern California $98000-132500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
