Zwicker & Associates, P.C. is currently seeking a passionate, experienced Instructional Designer (fully remote) who can create, deliver and oversee educational materials for employee growth or career development. The candidate must have a foundational understanding of instructional design models that produce impactful, measurable results, such as increased employee engagement and improved retention. They must also be able to foster a collaborative, productive learning environment that captures the audience’s attention and helps them meet their development end goals. The role has significant interface with many levels of the organization. As such, the candidate must be able to build and maintain strong business relationships. This role will report to the VP of Learning & Development.

Requirements

  • Analyzes client source content, target audience demographics, job tasks, and learner environment to identify learning objectives and appropriate instructional strategies
  • Creates design documents to specify performance or behavioral objectives, sequencing of instruction, course content, source materials, and instructional strategies based on needs analysis and target audience
  • Designs and develops training based on agreed upon design to support the various training delivery modalities utilized at Zwicker
  • Applies advanced adult learning theories into practical, application-based learning strategies
  • Acquires and applies new technology skills to instructional design practice
  • Utilizes a broad range of interactive, creative and intuitive instructional methods, including but not limited to simulations, games, hands-on activities, interactive case studies, role-plays, and assessments
  • Works collaboratively with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to conduct needs analysis and develop learning objectives for all programs
  • Develops comprehensive measurement strategies for all learning solutions to demonstrate business impact and effectiveness
  • Manages and administers Zwicker’s Learning Management System – COMPASS
  • Remains a thought leader in instructional design and innovation

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Three plus years of experience designing and developing adult learning training and programs
  • In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories
  • Strong experience project managing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs and initiatives
  • Proficiency in course authoring and distance learning tools including: Articulate 360 (including RISE), Camtasia, Captivate, LeaderGuide Pro/George, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom (or a similar virtual learning platform)
  • Ability to navigate Learning Management Systems (experience with Docebo is a plus)
  • Experience with AI, graphic design, video, micro-learning, responsive design, gamification, simulations, animation/motion graphics is a plus
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Office

Physical Qualifications 

  • Be able to lift 5 lbs. or greater

  • Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence
