Supports overall Talent Development initiatives to keep the company on the leading edge in developing top talent. Responsible for creating, developing, and implementing effective and engaging learning experiences in multiple modalities.

Primary Responsibilities

Curriculum Development

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and design comprehensive training programs.
  • Develops instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, and job aids. 

Instructional Design

  • Applies instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Utilizes adult learning theories to design content that is learner focused.
  • Promotes retention and application of knowledge.

Assessment and Evaluation

    • Develops and implements post-training assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Analyzes assessment data to make recommendations for continuous improvements.  

Project Management

  • Manages multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with goals.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and others to meet project milestones and objectives.

Quality Assurance

  • Conducts reviews of learning materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to instructional design standards.

Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Supports course content and attendance records in online system as needed.

Professional Development

  • Stays current on adult learning & development trends, software, and techniques.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications (minimum requirements before going into job)

  • Bachelor’s degree in field related to Instructional Design, Educational Technology and/or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity and understanding of adult learning fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in eLearning software, preferably Articulate 360.
  • Works productively and efficiently, balanced with a high level of quality.
