What You’ll Do

As a Silicon Labs Instructional Design Intern at Silicon Labs, you will obtain a deep understanding of the instructional design process working with a team of engineers.  You will work on developing training including meeting with stakeholders to perform an analysis to discover the training need as well as creating the training using tools like Adobe Creative Suite. Here are just a few of the challenges you might get to tackle:   

  • Meet with stakeholders to identify training needs and determine the best approach to addressing those needs
  • Learn about proper instructional design techniques and training development
  • Work on projects that will be used to help promote knowledge and skills of a team of engineers

Who You Are

You’ll Need:

  • Completion of 2+ years of study   
  • Enrollment in Education, Communication, or English degree tracks
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Technical aptitude in the electronic engineering and/or computer field
  • Ability to focus on projects and work to completion in established timelines
  • Creative thinker
  • Fast Learner
  • Team player
  • Experience with any of the following tools a plus:
    • MS Office
    • Workday
    • Confluence
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • Rise
    • Jira
