As a Training and Development Generalist you will be responsible for instructional design, curriculum management, and leading projects of moderate complexity. Through data collection and analysis, you will identify training needs and design/develop curriculum for multiple business units as needed.

  • You have 3-5+ years’ in-depth experience in instructional design and are skilled in all phases of ADDIE.
  • You can lead and manage instructional design projects of moderate complexity.
  • You can analyze business needs and make recommendations to business leaders and key stakeholders on solutions that deliver business results. 
  • You have experience designing learning activities and courses that align with learning objectives and incorporate adult learning theories.
  • You can develop engaging learning solutions using a variety of modalities, e.g., e-learning, virtual classroom, etc.
  • You have experience using Articulate 360, Camtasia, and SharePoint online.
  • You can design and develop evaluation methods and tools to determine effectiveness of training, recommend changes to the business unit and implement solutions.
  • You can lead/facilitate a variety of meetings with subject experts, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • You have high learning agility, can adapt to new technology quickly, and can learn and maintain knowledge of multiple business units.
  • You can identify areas for improvement within department processes, make recommendations, and implement solutions.

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $71,023-$113,637

‎Orange County Base Salary Range: $86,424-$138,278

‎Hampton Roads Base Salary Range: $72,884-$116,614

‎Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $75,646-$121,034

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
