The Auto Facilitator is a pivotal contributor in our company’s growth and transformation. They are responsible for training, upskilling, and reskilling new hires, employees, and non-employees in support of business-specific initiatives, including but not limited to growth, transformation, innovation, new client deliveries, and operational excellence.  The Facilitator’s primary focus includes facilitation and transfer of learning to develop skill and competency, learner feedback and coaching, maintenance of curricula and business/subject matter expertise, and use of multiple modalities to meet needs that reflect best practice and business/regulatory requirements to ensure we deliver high-quality learning programs and solutions. The effective facilitator will approximately spend their time as follows:

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? 

  • Facilitates the delivery of multiple learning curricula and solutions using adult learning theories through various delivery modalities, including in-person, virtual, hybrid, digital, and other emerging delivery modalities.
  • Demonstrates expert facilitation/communication, time management, and organizational skills, and role models The Assurant Way behaviors when delivering learning solutions, allowing participants to focus on their learning.
  • Provides skill-based/performance feedback and coaching to learners while monitoring their engagement and knowledge/skills transfer to ensure that they achieve the expected competency for their role.
  • Takes ownership of the delivery and maintenance of learning solutions and processes for specific areas. This includes ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and audit requirements and leveraging a digital-first approach when appropriate. The Facilitator’s role in maintaining and updating curricula is a key aspect of this responsibility, reflecting our commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Partners with Strategic Learning Solutions and Change team as a subject matter expert and reviewer when advanced skillsets are required to create new, or maintain existing, learning solutions for specific areas within their responsibility.
  • Implements surveys, evaluations, assessments, accreditations, and any other standardized processes designed and required for new hire, employee, and non-employee learning activity.
  • Partners effectively with key stakeholders and proactively bring back learnings and insights from what is observed/experienced to deliver and help shape curricula and solutions that are simple and easy for learners to consume, address different learner needs, and produce the expected skill acquisition/development and business (KPIs/SLAs), regulatory, and audit outcomes.
  • Recommends improvements that increase efficacy, efficiency, scalability, and impact of learning solutions and processes to increase value and impact over time.
  • Maintains, reviews, analyzes, and communicates required learning data/information on learner progress, feedback and coaching focus, and completion associated with delivered learning solutions to demonstrate and evidence learner competency and adherence to program requirements, the business, and/or relevant regulation and audit factors.
  • Builds and maintains business acumen (where we are, what changed, and where we are headed) and keeps up to date on best practices, including industry and digital trends, as they relate to adult learning, delivery modalities and facilitation, training, upskilling, and reskilling techniques, to ensure we deliver high-quality learning programs and solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What are the requirements needed for this position? 

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Auto industry in Claims or Customer Service.
  • A minimum of 1 year of facilitation in a virtual and classroom learning environment.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (or similar applications) emphasizing Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams Meetings and Chat, SharePoint, etc.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in adult learning, human resources, or related field
  • Prior experience in a Global Fortune 500 company with the technology, mobile, or financial services industries.
  • Proven experience, skills, & knowledge in Learning & Development practices, systems, and processes (e.g., instructional design, knowledge base, delivery modalities, and technologies, learning management systems, evaluation methods, adult learning theories, etc.)
  • Certifications or designations in coaching, facilitation, feedback, training, or other areas of Learning & Development
  • Prior experience gathering, evaluating, and using learning data to improve skill acquisition/development, performance, and business, regulatory, and audit outcomes.
  • Prior experience with Workday’s LMS, SharePoint, Learning Delivery tools, etc.

How much should I expect to travel? 

  • Up to 10% travel

Pay Range:

$53,700.00 – $89,900.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
