As an eLearning Specialist at Voya, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective eLearning programs. This role requires a creative and technical individual who can work collaboratively with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to create high-quality educational content.

Please Note: Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule. 

Profile Description:

  • Designs and develops interactive and multimedia-rich eLearning content using various authoring tools.
  • Ensures all eLearning content aligns with brand standards, instructional design principles and best practices.
  • Prepares content outlines, scripting, knowledge checks, voiceovers and other logistics needed to create interactive micro level self-paced learning modules. 
  • Maintains and updates existing eLearning courses to ensure content remains current and relevant.
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting for eLearning platforms and tools.
  • Stays up to date with the latest trends and technologies in eLearning and instructional design.
  • Manages learning content, reporting and end-user experience in the Learning Management System (Workday Learning).
  • Assesses program effectiveness: Works with the L&D team to review usage, participant feedback, evaluations, and key performance indicators to evaluate program effectiveness. 
  • Coaches others on eLearning design.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing eLearning and blended solutions.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Camtasia, Articulate suite of products, easygenerator or other course authoring and simulation tools experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information effectively to various audiences. 
  • Understands the implications of a learning management systems on instructional design, assessments, and testing.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-managed; ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal coaching or supervision.
  • Proficient computer skills needed, including MS Office, Teams, and SharePoint. 

Preferred:

  • Experience with AI/NLP simulation products is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Insurance and Financial Services.
  • Portfolio examples may be requested.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$53,540 – $66,930 USD
