Science Career and Cooperative Education has developed a Science Career Competency Framework that equips McMaster Science students with the professional skills critical to career success.

In partnership with faculty, we are embarking on a project to measure where students are gaining these competencies, and at what level, in each course they take through their academic career. This is an exciting and innovative undertaking designed to set McMaster Science students apart from the rest.

We are seeking an Educational Developer to help design, implement, and complete the competency mapping project.

In collaboration with the Project Coordinator, the incumbent will design the mapping process to ensure it’s easy and simple for faculty to use, support faculty through the process, ensure the data that’s captured effectively identifies the competency proficiency levels students are attaining and any gaps arising.
