  • Develop and manage education and training plans, programs, and activities to achieve business objectives for the company.
  • Develop and manage the internal and external education programs and curriculum for specific programs, products, platforms, and services for all provider channels
  • Manage and excels in the use of our corporate LMS system, including training execution, platform improvements, and user design
  • Maintain optimal learning performance across the enterprise
  • Strategize, develop, and execute training programs for emerging vision and diagnostic technologies, such as lens and frame packages, functional lens designs, new frame and lens materials, lens enhancements and coatings, retail strategies, and exclusive ECP programs
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Education & Training program sales teams that establish the company as the industry leader
  • Identify, develop, facilitate, and manage learning and development activities to support the success of the company’s sales organizations and specific divisions
  • Work collaboratively with other functional leads to be a valued partner and contributor to company objectives
  • Lead and direct staff to ensure skills and knowledge are continually developed to meet future marketing, customer, and business needs
  • Provide oversight of department activities such as planning, hiring, performance reviews, training needs, education, industry insight, and budgeting

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 2 additional years of experience related to functional area
  • Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports
  • Minimum of 2 years of training, curriculum development, and/or sales development preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of LMS platform technical and program management preferred
  • Proven track record in project management skills with high-impact large-scale projects
  • Demonstrated experience in driving organization change and influencing company leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgement in performance of job duties

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $105,000.00 – $165,375.00
