Role Summary & Responsibilities
NWEA’s Professional Learning (PL) Team provides facilitation, coaching, and consultative services to support partners with their professional learning goals. The team is responsible for building capacity within and across schools and districts in a variety of settings by leveraging professional learning initiatives that empower educators to make data informed decisions. We believe implementing evidence-based instructional practices will positively impact student growth and achievement.
The Director of Professional Learning Delivery is responsible for leading and managing the partner-facing delivery of NWEA professional learning products and services provided by Professional Learning Consultants which also includes a contingent workforce. This position works closely with other members of the PL Delivery leadership team, PL Services Operations team, Partner Accounts, and other cross-functional teams to further the mission of NWEA. In addition, the Director of Professional will foster a team environment that is conducive to promoting high quality professional learning and growth for all NWEA Professional Learning team members. The Professional Learning Delivery team is dedicated to facilitating learning experiences that enhance individual knowledge and build organizational capacity to improve student learning.
Under the direction of the Sr Director of Professional Learning Delivery, this role also requires collaboration with other PL Directors and cross-functional colleagues in leading PL Consultants in all phases of their learning, planning, and execution of professional learning plans and workshops.
A successful PL Director will have background knowledge of education systems and adult learning theory. This role requires exceptional communication skills, evidence of strong organization skills, attention to detail, flexibility in a rapidly evolving work environment, and a commitment to excellent coaching, development, and motivating others. A PL Director will nurture a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability within and across teams through clear, repeatable, and measurable processes, serving all members connected to developing and delivering our products in appropriate capacities, leads by example, and leads up with solutions prioritizing work based on the value, impact, and effort.

Benefits and Salary Range
Salary Range – $90,000 – $120,000. Our salary ranges are based on national averages. We have wide ranges so we can be flexible and determine compensation based on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education, and location.
