The Curriculum Writer will be instrumental in developing and writing instructional materials and curriculum that enable each program to achieve its learning objectives. This role requires a strong background in program development, learning & development, and/or adult education.

How You Will Contribute

  • Develop and write engaging instructional materials and curriculum for both in-person and online learning environments, including synchronous and asynchronous content, training modules, workshops, and reading discussions. 
  • Collaborate with the Scaled Education team, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure that educational products are tailored to meet the needs of Stand Together employees and program participants. 
  • Revise and update curriculum content based on feedback and evolving educational needs. 
  • Identify, train, and support facilitators in delivering content effectively, ensuring it aligns with learning objectives and engages the audience. 
  • Facilitate trainings and workshops where appropriate  
  • Research and integrate current educational theories and instructional design principles to enhance curriculum effectiveness. Create diverse educational materials that cater to various learning styles and preferences. 
  • Integrate technology and multimedia resources into curriculum designs. 
  • Document and maintain comprehensive records of curriculum development processes and updates. 

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in program or curriculum development, with a preference for backgrounds in learning & development and/or adult learning. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record in curriculum writing and instructional design. 
  • Strong facilitation skillset  
  • Strong understanding of educational practices and standards. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders across various departments.
