What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a driven and creative Corporate L&D Content Designer to join our L&D team in creating, implementing, facilitating and evaluating training and development modules for our global teams.

This is a hybrid role, based out of our Toronto Head Office.

What You’d Be Doing In This Role

  • Collaborate with global teams to design, develop, and deploy training programs tailored to different global markets, addressing diverse learning needs and preferences.
  • Conduct needs assessments across departments to identify skill gaps and determine the most suitable training interventions.
  • Design and develop engaging learning content, from initial storyboard creation to final production, across modalities such as classroom, e-learning, job aids, webinars, and on-the-job training.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using defined KPIs, integrating feedback for iterative improvement and refinement.
  • Manage content across all company platforms, ensuring that learning assets are current, relevant, and accessible.
  • Offer editorial, creative, and technical support for the learning content, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops as required, bringing the designed learning experiences to life
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices within the training and development industry.

Skills And Qualifications Needed To Get The Job Done

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning Design, instructional design, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience
  • In depth knowledge of and minimum 3 years experience in instructional design practices (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), adult learning principles, interactive learning design, and blended learning techniques (instructor-led, eLearning, self-paced, etc.)
  • Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Elucidat, and other multimedia design software. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate messages to diverse audiences and a strong editing and proofreading aptitude.
  • A track record of building and nurturing relationships across diverse teams, departments, and regions.
  • A keen eye for visual design and knack for creating great user experiences
  • Proven experience collaborating with subject matter experts and global stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under pressure, balancing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
