We are seeking a content developer who is passionate about driving learning and engagement!

As an integral key member of our knowledge solutions team, you’ll be part of the creation of our industry-leading learning.  You’ll develop content and knowledge products that help our members certify, master core competencies, and build new skills.

Some specific duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Conducting analysis activities and research to support course and exam development and revision efforts, education initiatives and knowledge products.
  • Designing, developing, revising, and updating classroom, live online, and self-paced online certification and non-certification course content and other knowledge products.
  • Leading and participating in review team meetings to propose course revisions.
  • Developing and overseeing the direction and editing of media content to be used in courses and products.  You’ll also develop scripts and storyboards.
  • Writing, editing, and reviewing columns, articles, and blogs for our bi-monthly trade publication, Journal of Property Management and other digital and editorial industry-focused content products.
  • Working with marketing team to develop project briefs, marketing, advertising, and website copy related to courses.

Let your skills shine 

To be successful in this role, you need to first and foremost enjoy the content development process.  After that, we require a Bachelor’s degree in instructional design (or equivalent experience) along with at least two years of experience developing and revising educational programs and/or publishing programs.  If you’re a recent grad and have gotten this experience in the classroom or internships, we’d like to encourage you to apply! A big plus is familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems and web-conferencing..

Our hybrid work schedule allows for team members to balance their personal and professional lives.  We come into the office 1 – 2 days per week to connect and collaborate.  For this reason, we can only consider candidates who reside in the Chicagoland area.
