This role is crucial in driving the creation and implementation of impactful training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the training design strategy in alignment with organizational goals and learning and development objectives.
  • Program Development: Design, develop, and enhance training programs and learning solutions that address skill gaps and support career development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and stakeholders to ensure the training content is relevant, up-to-date, and effective.
  • Innovation: Incorporate the latest trends and best practices in training design, including the use of technology and interactive methodologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish metrics and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve the learning experience.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of training designers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budget for training design projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Job Contribution:

  • Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives.
  • This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management.
  • Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization.
  • Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.

Our Associate Director-Training Design, earn between $106,100 – $159,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
