The first course in the Digital Teaching and Learning Series focuses on the fundamental aspects of creating and delivering online courses.
It explores pedagogies and learning theories relevant to online teaching while addressing the role of technology . The course is comprehensive and essential to understanding the digital teaching practices addressed in the following courses from the series. It provides the participant with solid concepts, introductions, and tutorials to acknowledge the key approaches in digital learning, the basics of interacting with a Learning Management System (LMS) and the tools available to deliver a successful learning experience.
This course is intended to instructors, teachers, instructional designers, course builders/developers, instructional and learning technologists, and anyone else with an interest in understanding online learning and the advantages brought by using technology.
