Comprehensive Instructional Designer Services

Needs Analysis

  • Analysis of learner demographics and key stakeholder attributes
  • Project scoping, timeline development and establishing of deliverables
  • Educational/external environment research
  • Examination of current trends and recommendations for integration with project solutions
  • Selection of appropriate technologies, use of existing client technologies
  • Instructional strategy discussions and recommendations
  • Change management strategies and process mapping
  • Scalability analysis of solutions

Content Acquisition

  • Collaboration with subject matter experts, client or faculty to procure, curate and format content

Design and Development

  • Successive approximation of prototypes or solution options
  • Development of templates, style guides, color palettes and logos
  • Module, lesson, course, and program build out to include overviews or introductions, learning objectives and outcomes, content sequencing, interactions, activities, practice, assessments, and teaching guides

Quality Assurance

  • Creation of learning experiences that are meaningful, simple to use and elegantly displayed


  • Integration of modules, lessons or standalone content with platform (LMS) and/or existing technical infrastructure
  • Coaching of subject matter experts, faculty, or instructors on how to teach the modules, courses, program or training

Evaluation and Revisions

  • Incorporation of pilot test feedback and revisions
  • Analysis of degree to which users are achieving learning outcomes
  • Ongoing revision and maintenance
