Join our team in Cincinnati! 

As our creative services expand, we are seeking full-time technical writers/instructional designers to join the Information Design team—a group of writers, designers, technical communicators, and other creative individuals who are passionate about improving lives. We provide creative guidance and develop compelling content, branding, documents, and trainings for a wide audience.

Responsibilities

  • Empower learners to excel in their roles by producing effective training materials and e-learnings
  • Translate complex ideas into clear and concise help documentation for proprietary Medpace clinical trial software
  • Increase document usability by applying design standards to templates and forms
  • Partner with experts to gain a deep understanding of the subject matter
  • Collaborate with other teams to simplify and visualize information

  • Advocate for users and provide input during meetings
  • Care about the details and notice even small inconsistencies in language, visuals, and format
  • Embrace new opportunities and balance projects as priorities change
  • Desire to improve our services, processes, and UX/UA/UI by integrating new technology and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in professional writing, technical communication, or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, including creating and editing complex documents that use styles and content controls
  • Proficient knowledge of software designed for technical communication
  • (Knowledge of these programs is a plus: Adobe Captivate, RoboHelp, and Creative Suite, Snagit, Visio)
  • Portfolio that demonstrates your ability to develop effective learning materials and technical documentation for various audiences
