We accomplish this through innovative software and program management solutions that harness millions of distributed energy resources, enabling utilities to support more renewables and rely less on fossil energy.We have an opportunity to introduce an in-house technical writing function to help focus us on solving internal and external gaps in knowledge and to improve overall understanding of our product. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces ambiguity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the content management and publishing strategy for EnergyHub’s product documentation and training materials.
  • Establish a documentation publishing process and standards that will be applied to all documentation for the product.
  • Evaluate, select and implement software programs such as a Learning Management System or Product Documentation Software to streamline the documentation publishing process.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create and deliver content based on product timelines and customer needs.
  • Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing.
  • Maintain training materials to support knowledge sharing within the company as well as with its clients and customers.

  • You have experience working with data in a product context or you’re interested in doing so.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical writing or other relevant experience.
  • Experience working with technical products and a broad understanding of concepts such as data warehouses and APIs.
  • Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders and users.
  • Examples that show your ability to document complex technical products for a broader audience.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Professional experience with and/or a passion for grid-edge technologies.
  • Professional experience working with utilities and/or device companies.

The salary range for this position is $95,000-$125,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.Why work for EnergyHub?
