Job TitleTechnical Training Engineer – RemoteRole OverviewAs a member of the Support Vendor Training Team, reporting to the Senior Manager of the Content Team, the focus of this opportunity is to design, develop and publish training deliverables for our 1500 worldwide support agents.The Support Vendor Training Team is part of the Customer Success group at McAfee. We are committed to providing our customers with the assistance they need to use our products successfully. Our team is looking for an experienced Instructional Designer/Developer to provide consistent, repeatable, scalable content for all support agents to enable identified business outcomesAbout The RoleEach Instructional Designer/Developer on the Support Vendor Training team is assigned a set of products/tools/processes.

• Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to work quickly and on multiple projects at a time
• Engage product teams, support engineers, and developers as needed to obtain all relevant information for each release, participating in regular release meetings.
• Create eLearning and instructor led training content, (including tests, surveys, and visual aids) update and maintain existing content and monitor training content consumption across Support Vendors.
• Regularly evaluate training effectiveness to assess learning goal achievement through testing and surveys. Adjust content as needed.
• Meet with support vendors to discuss product, process and tool learning activities, including but not limited to training success stories, training activities, training activity completion status reports, upcoming projects, product launches and any open issues or feedback.
• Communicate product release readiness during regular status meetings.
• Maintain Learning Management System learner registry.
• Publish course content on to Learning Management System.
• Publish Product Release Notes for on-demand agent access/consumption.

• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects and multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts, translating technical jargon into useful information.
• Ability to learn and follow the team’s well-defined processes and procedures. And, also provide input to make innovative suggestions in the planning and execution of projects.
• Talent for juggling multiple projects at a time.
• Demonstrated commitment to technical accuracy.
• Ability to gain proficiency with new software tool(s) within 3 months of training.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in customer support is desirable.
• Over one year experience as instructional designer.
