Summary

In this role, you will design and develop performance-centered sales and Medicare training for a variety of delivery methods including Instructor-led (classroom and virtual) and eLearning. You will analyze root causes of performance issues, plan for future improvements in performance, and design and develop training solutions or recommend non-training solutions to close performance gaps. You will also put our facilitation skills to use by conducting some engaging training sessions.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop learning materials for classroom, online delivery, self-study, performance support, etc. by implementing sound instructional design techniques and adult learning methods
  • Investigate and analyze performance gaps of sales reps and sales teams
  • Recommend/or implement solutions to close performance gaps
  • Ensure that all training and performance solutions align with business goals
  • Create and execute reinforcement programs to improve performance/close performance gaps
  • Determine if training is the appropriate solution for performance gap and the type of training or non-training related solution needed to close the gap
  • Analyze learning goals and objectives and work with colleagues and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design training solutions
  • Select appropriate and effective instructional strategies
  • Use appropriate software and systems to create training solutions (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint etc.)
  • Organize learning materials for easy access, tracking and distribution
  • Independently manage training related projects end-to-end, leveraging available software and your project management skills
  • Assist management with strategic and tactical learning roadmaps
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure any outsourced training projects meet identified needs and are completed on time and within budget
  • Conduct engaging and results focused training sessions

Qualifications 

  • 4 or more years’ experience developing and facilitating performance-centered training
  • 3 or more years’ experience fueling organizational competitiveness by identifying and closing human performance gaps
  • Experience conducting training evaluation
  • Ability to collect and interpret training data to ensure data-driven training decisions
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills
  • Solid understanding of adult learning theories
  • Knowledge of theories, models, and principles of human performance improvement
  • Knowledge of performance analysis methods and techniques including performance gap assessment, and root-cause analysis
  • Skill in designing and implementing performance support systems and tools including instructional resources, data, process models, job aids, and expert advice
  • Skill in designing and developing performance improvement solutions to address performance gaps
  • Skill in conducting performance analysis to identify goals, gaps, or opportunities
  • Experience with managing a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Ability to work across different company functions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Keen understanding of learning technologies
  • Proficiency in the following software: Articulate Storyline, Storyline 360, Microsoft PowerPoint, other Microsoft Office software and Adobe Acrobat software
  • Competence in the following software: Adobe Captivate, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, Adobe Fireworks or Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience working as an Instructional Designer in a healthcare setting is an advantage

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 52,900 – 88,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
