Key responsibilities include:
• Partner with Talent and Learning program leads to understand their sourcing requirements.
• Recommend or find a supplier to support the Partners’ strategic goals.
• Negotiate business and legal terms in compliance with Microsoft policies and standards.
• Draft or renew Statement of Works (SOWs) per Microsoft approved forms.
• Maintain strong relationships with both supplier contacts and program owners.
• Act as SME/Trusted Advisor for program owners on contracted processes and procedures
• Monitor RFI/RFP (Requests for Information/Proposals)
• Supply weekly status reports on volume and processing timeframes.
• Document and improve end to end processes.
• Help resolve procurement and operational issues.
• Prep and readiness for key supplier performance reviews, engagements, and meetings.
• Manage the tools and processes needed to support the program.
• Partner with Corp Procurement to strengthen sourcing insight and program management ability across TLI.
• Backup and support other TLI business management and operation management team members as needed.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Contracting – be knowledgeable about the contracting stages and lifecycle.
• PO knowledge – have a good understanding of PO flow, uses, and content.
• Negotiation – be comfortable with negotiating policy and business terms.
• Collaboration – able to work with partners and stakeholders to understand their needs, source them within the timeline while following policies and standards.
• Process Improvement – committed to process improvement and to increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the souring process.
• Problem Solving – able to manage escalations, develop options, and implement solutions.
• Detail oriented – have the urge and ability to focus on legal and business terms.
