Job Overview:
The Program Manager, Education ensures the New Jersey Office for Refugees (NJOR) portfolio of Education programs is best in class through responsibilities in three main areas: sub-award management, technical support, and business development. The Program Manager oversees the development of education focused sub-awards to partner agencies, and subsequent monitoring of partner performance and report submission to donors. Awards include Refugee School Impact (RSI), Refugee Youth Mentoring (RYM), and English Language Training (ELT). The Program Manager coordinates the development and dissemination of materials and resources that provide technical support for sub-award partner agencies and other statewide refugee education stakeholders. The Program Manager also focuses on project management, program implementation, stakeholder outreach and education, and networking as needed to advance the education goals and strategies of NJOR.
The Program Manager reports to the Senior Program Officer, and works in partnership with NJOR staff, project colleagues at sub-award agencies, and other stakeholders.

Working Environment:
The New Jersey Office for Refugees is fully remote. Expectation to travel within New Jersey for partner and staff meetings and events. Oversight of staff in and outside of New Jersey. Expectation to occasionally travel and participate in meetings outside of New Jersey.
Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirement.
