Learning Experience Designer
Description
Overview of Role: Unboxed Technology contributes to the world by creating new ways to educate and empower people. As a Learning Experience Designer (LXD), you use your top-notch content development skills to create fresh, engaging workplace learning experiences for our clients. Whether it’s writing a script for an animated video, crafting content for an eLearning, or coming up with creative learning and coaching activities, you’ll face a new challenge every day and design content that leverages adult learning principles and helps learners develop skill agility. You’ll work closely with your project teams and collaborate with other Learning Experience Designers, Visual Designers, Animators, and Developers to make your vision come to life.
Specific Responsibilities:
Content Writing and Development
- Complete thorough project discovery to understand the client, learners, and industry and brainstorm creative design solutions
- Design and develop written content for all deliverables, including eLearnings, live action and animated videos, job aids, on-the-job learning, games, instructor-led training, and more
- Partner with production team to make learning experiences come to life
- Demonstrate strong partnership, innovation mindset, and expertise (PIE) when interacting and building relationships with clients
- Walk clients through content and facilitate feedback discussions on project review calls with clear and actionable communication
- Action on client feedback efficiently and accurately, recommending creative solutions
- Set internal milestones with reviewer to ensure smooth handoffs
- Keep track of project milestones and deadlines
- Communicate impediments early

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/advanced degree/equivalent experience in a writing, instructional design, or adult learning field
- Working knowledge of (or a passion to learn) adult learning principles and instructional design techniques
- 4+ years of professional writing experience in an agency-like setting strongly preferred
