Responsibilities:
We’re looking for someone who loves experimentation, empowering people through learning, knowledge management, and process standardization. As a small startup, we have a lot of emerging best practices to standardize, document, and train to. Come help us build out and manage our knowledge base, enhance our problem-solving capacity, foster a culture of continuous learning, and so much more.
- Creates, organizes, plans, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees.
- Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
- Assists in creating and maintaining training manuals, operational guides, and course materials.
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Requirements:
- Exceptional people communication skills, quickly being able to determine learning styles
- Collaborative, team-oriented working style
- Empathetic and energetic attitude
- Willingness and a deep desire to learn
- 2+ years of experience working as a trainer, instructional designer, or technical writer
- Candidates with experience in healthcare or in a fast-growth tech startup preferred
- Proven ability to interact with varied constituencies in a collegial and professional manner
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation skills)
- A demonstrated high level of integrity, guided by a sound set of ethical principles
- Handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
