At Cengage, we build easy-to-use, quality learning solutions. Every day, Learning Designers share their knowledge and experience in learning science, pedagogy, content and curriculum development to achieve this pillar. In this role, we apply creativity, key quality standards, and insights about student and instructor needs to make best-in-class learning products. Using an agile and strategic approach, research-based insights, and instructional design methodologies, we craft improvements, revisions, and additions to higher-education course materials and career-training curricula. Rather than implement these designs alone, we collaborate with a wide range of team members including researchers, subject matter authorities, content developers, product managers, marketers, and more. This team of Learning Designers is curious, tenacious, dedicated to sharing ideas, and committed to questioning the status quo in learning.
