We are looking for a Learning/Content Development Manager to join our team to build best-in-class learning and development courses for both people leaders and individual contributors. In this role, you will work with the Learning and Development team to manage the creation and development of engaging training materials. As a Learning/Content Development Manager, you will use your passion and creativity to create learning experiences that effectively optimize our employees’ skills and competencies. Successful candidates possess an acute attention to detail and superior project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of innovative learning and capability development solutions that support YETI’s professional performance and growth
  • Manage learning and development projects from inception and design phase to full program roll out
  • Experiment with innovative approaches to learning that drive engagement and operational efficiency on the backend
  • Deliver learning solutions that are highly engaging and improve leadership effectiveness
  • Assist with the implementation and management of our Workday Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Develop and maintain job-aids, quick-reference guides, and other training materials
  • Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to improve onboarding, leader development, and product training for various teams
  • Support and execute Leadership and Development (L&D) strategies in collaboration with L&D Sr. leadership, Talent senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage multiple curriculum portfolios of development experiences, including new solution development and ongoing maintenance of existing assets
  • Facilitate training content to all levels of employees via instructor led, team building activities, collaboration sessions, lunch and learns and various other delivery modes 
  • Align project teams and stakeholders to implement highly effective and innovative L&D solutions, including digitized content, individualized learning paths, and development in the flow of work
  • Build, manage, and leverage positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, and peers
  • Provide functional expertise to identify, research, and resolve complex problems

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in content development, instructor-led facilitation, and adult learning theories
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Curriculum/Content Developer for creating and facilitating leadership training programs for all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated, end-to-end project/program management experience: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close
  • Proven ability to develop stakeholder partnerships including experience owning client relationships with senior leaders, possess strong project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Proven history of creating complex, high-quality, and innovative training materials and learning solutions using proven instructional/content design methodology and current industry trends
  • Experience building learning interactions that require complex interactions using industry-standard tools such as Articulate 360 suite, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Captivate, Filmora, Synthesia, etc.
  • Self-learner who can learn to use innovative technologies with minimal guidance as the tech-stack shifts to meet evolving needs
  • Partner across all lines of the business to create engaging content, e-Learning courses and multimedia deliverables that support continuous and blended learning
  • Champion learning innovation by researching, consulting on, and leveraging new training techniques and opportunities to integrate technology components
  • Remain current with e-Learning and instructional design, by researching/learning new authoring tools, environments, media, and techniques
  • Ability to build lessons tailored to specific learning outcomes and write assessments to measure desired competencies
  • Ability to effectively facilitate to employees at all levels via instructor led, team building activities, collaboration sessions, lunch and learns and various other delivery modes   
  • A team player who can collaborate with stakeholders to understand and deliver eLearning modules that drive adoption and customer/employee retention
  • Ability to quickly assess learning needs, propose, design, develop, deliver, and measure success of learning solutions
  • Demonstrated consultative approach: excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify themes and develop compelling recommendations
  • Remain current with e-Learning and instructional design, by researching/learning new authoring tools, environments, media, and techniques
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment
  • Strong strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
  • Instructional design background is a plus
  • Experience in Workday Learning Management System is a plus

US Workplace Approach:

  • Onsite: Role requires you to be onsite full-time.
  • Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
  • Remote: Role is full-time remote.
