In this role, we are looking for someone who will partner internally to prioritize, design, and deliver content with quick turnaround times. The Junior Instructional Designer role is a junior-level role where you will translate communications and content into intuitive, engaging learning resources that foster user-friendly experiences for employees, with an emphasis on creating communications, huddle content, and microlearning.

Responsibilities:

  • A passion for our fan experience!
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and SMEs involved in design and development to solve business problems.
  • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Creates engaging, interactive activities and content that enhance retention and skill transfer, partners to maintain and enhance existing content.
  • Demonstrates organization, planning, and time management skills – ability to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Develops knowledge of processes and procedures so that you become a recognized source of information internally (this position may require customer-facing contacts to maintain expertise).
  • Positively frames problems and is enthusiastic about the team’s success over individual recognition; positively cultivates a fan-first culture of delight.
  • Other—own and complete other tasks as assigned.

Competencies:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt communication styles to suit different audiences.
  • Experience in editing training or education content or similar design work.
  • Ability to multitask and pivot focus based on business needs.
  • Ability to innovate, learn, and adjust to meet the position’s needs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

  • Full-Time, Monday-Friday daytime shift

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience with communications (i.e., memos, newsletters, etc.), graphic design, and authoring tools (i.e., Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, Articulate Storyline, Web 2.0, etc.)
  • The anticipated gross annual salary range for this role is $45,000 – $50,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies.
