Cognizant is looking for an Instructional Designer, practitioner of User Centered Design, who understands and implement Design thinking. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Location: San Jose, CA (Remote opportunity)

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Develop training materials.
  • Have strong ID capabilities.
  • Work with Google PMs as their main points of contact.
  • Work closely with Googlers as integral members of the team.
  • Create the templates for ILTs (Instructor Led Training), Instructor Guide, and e-learning.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with learning management tools including Evolve, Articulate, and Storyline
  • Experience with internal/external training content for sales or support or equivalent experience
  • Create content outline and/or micro design documents in Google slides , Google forms and Google Docs
  • Build knowledge checks and exams

Required Qualifications:

  • Instructional Design
  • Communication
  • Content writing
  • Experience with Evolve, Synthesis
  • Degree, or equivalent experience

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 8/1/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 – $97,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
