The Mental Well-Being Clinical Innovation team is dedicated to using data and research to inform our Mental Well-Being clinical strategy and designing programs that improve health outcomes for specific populations. If you are an instructional designer with experience working with and supporting clinical training program then we want to talk to you.Responsibilities:Consults on design and technology alternatives/vehicles to implement the most efficient and cost-effective approach.Utilizes desktop technology to offer a broad range of presentation and delivery strategies, including self-paced video, audio, simulations and scenarios, to develop curriculum for the Intranet.Designs technology-based training programs using a standardized instructional design methodology.Performs quality reviews to ensure program meets quality and design standards.Conducts needs analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of eLearning programs.Ensures eLearning programs are developed using the appropriate levels of adult learning instructional techniques and evaluation tools.Effectively integrates eLearning programs into Aetna’s technological architecture and learning management system.Research new eLearning tools and evaluates such technologies for support of training initiatives to improve and facilitate the design and development of Aetna eLearning programs.Collaborates and coordinates with other enterprise learning areas to identify most effective and cost-efficient means of delivering needed learning programming.Supports the roll out/ implementation of eLearning programs.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: $ 60,300Maximum: $ 130,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.5 years solid knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and educational media.5 years experience with technical/software (Microsoft suite, Articulate Storyline, Dreamweaver, Front Page, Authorware, Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Audio and Graphic software).5 years experience in designing and developing performance-based training programs. Education in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principleand/or performance consulting is required.5 years experience in web development, design and graphic design. Demonstrated cross team, department and business segment collaboration. Position requires an extraordinary team player to round out a highly engaged and high achieving team.
Preferred Qualifications
Expert in HTML and JavaScript, solid understanding of CBT
Education
Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science or Management Information Systems degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.Bachelor degree in Education, Communication, Adult Learning or equivalent experience.
