As part of the Sales Enablement Team under the Growth Organization, the Instructional Designer will focus on innovative cross departmental training strategy for multiple levels of job functions with multiple and diverse product responsibilities. Collaborating with other members of the Sales Enablement Team you will formulate and develop departmental training architecture, operationalize implementation, and assess outcomes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to play a key role in implementing fast, effective, and sustaining change across a company, ensuring new standards are met in a timely manner. In addition, this position will implement new performance standards of excellence across all teams to generate confidence and accessible resources covering all aspects of job performance. The Instructional Designer will partner with authors, managers and subject matter experts in curriculum development, course design and material. Provide governance with compliance control.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess performance by developing Growth Organization training strategies to achieve membership/enrollment goals using data driven improvement opportunities and measures
  • Establish and standardized new hire training plans and ongoing development training goals for the entire department
  • Coordinate subject matter experts to provide relevant content to needs of teams
  • Provide project management and guidance to departmental initiatives
  • Leads in the standardization of department reference materials, manage the flow of information from teams, and drive improved communication efforts with all staff and locations
  • Develop reporting and data analytics to track trends and performance on individual and team levels
  • Facilitate budget planning with department including maintaining decentralized development budgets and certification training costs
  • Participates and assists in compliance and audit requirements
  • Designs learning evaluations that calculate the Return on Investment of the program and develop predictive modeling for recommendations.
  • Designs programs that specifically address and improve executive coaching, talent succession planning, change management and executive engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

Job Skills & Requirements:

What skill set do you need to be a successful Growth Instructional Designer and Compliance Advocate?

  • Familiar with adult learning principles, learning theories, and instructional methodologies and models, such as ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluation.
  • Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to continuously enhance business processes and tools
  • Offer initiative-taking solutions to solve for complex problems
  • Lead projects and strategic initiatives, having working knowledge of project management leadership and attention to detail
  • Ability to present, communicate difficult concepts effectively, and demonstrate strong leadership skills among peers
  • Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills, all applications, with an aptitude for SharePoint
  • You also need to be analytical, logical, organized, and creative to design courses that present the key messages in a way that makes sense and engages the learners
  • Ability to analyze general business documentation for audit and compliance

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Design, Technical Writing, or relevant field plus a minimum of one (1) year direct work experience as an Instructional Designer including development of classroom and online training and assessment materials as well as experience in facilitation of training classes.
  • In lieu of degree, five (5) years of experience as an Instructional Designer including development of classroom and online training and assessment materials as well as experience in facilitation of training classes or a combination of experience and relevant certifications will be considered.
