EdPlus Enrollment Coach Leads manage teams to meet goals for graduate and undergraduate student recruitment including development of recruitment campaigns, admissions, and cultivating community partnerships. They are effective communicators and problem solvers who bring a service-oriented approach.

Working Environment

EdPlus at ASU is located at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. The center houses a diverse business community that links technology, research, education, and entrepreneurship to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders in the knowledge economy.

Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing. Daily use of desktop or laptop computer is required. Ability to clearly communicate verbally in English, read, write, see, and hear to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks.

EdPlus at ASU supports flexible work options, ranging from alternate work schedules to hybrid remote work schedules, subject to approvals per ASU policy.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in closely related field AND three (3) years previous experience in one or more of the following areas: Advising, Recruitment, Retention, Enrollment, or related academic area, including two (2) years supervisory experience OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved

Essential Duties

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Maintain a positive, “How can I help?” attitude.
  • Manage team of enrollment coaches using a collaborative leadership style.
  • Achieve results that align with the larger vision of the organization and its goals through effective systems that work through and with people.
  • Develop, coordinate, and drive the implementation of recruitment plans for graduate and undergraduate prospective students including the development, editing and distribution of recruitment materials, student communications, programmatic advisement resources, guides, etc.
  • Develop resources that enable others to provide the best information and direction to prospective students, at the right time and through the contact method they prefer.
  • Initiate and prepare administrative reports and documents.
  • Assess recruitment programs and events for effectiveness.
  • Work at a faster-than-average pace with a high degree of accuracy while managing a variety of activities subject to tight deadlines and potentially conflicting priorities.
  • Provide strong leadership that is firm and goal-orientated yet motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic and supportive way.
  • Provide resources that enable others to provide the best information and direction to prospective students, at the right time and through the contact method they prefer.
  • Partner with ASU academic units and services to work through challenges and solve unique roadblocks.
  • Solve problems with confidence while fostering the commitment of others.
  • Recommend and monitor compliance with department policies and procedures.
  • Challenge the status quo by recommending new and innovative procedures with student success in mind.
  • Assume or coordinate other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
