Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking a highly-motivated Advisor Training Specialist to teach and support financial professionals and their staff to implement and leverage a robust set of technology tools designed to support business growth, productivity and efficiency while providing an advice-centric experience for their clients.

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert on all aspects of the Cetera field technology platform as well as the associated business processes.
  • Deliver virtual and in-person instructor-led training events such as webinars, breakout sessions, and workshops.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group coaching to financial professionals and assistants on the technology platform and other business processes.
  • Present technology demonstrations for recruits and other interested parties.
  • Facilitate live virtualforums and discussions.
  • Proactively solicit feedbackon training and support needsfrom members of the field organization.
    Interpret, prioritize, and evaluate incoming questions from users.
  • Provide timely, accurateresponses to inboundand escalated servicecalls, chats and emails related to usage of the technology platform applications.
  • Convey technical information in non-technical terms and clearlypresent complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Partner with internal and external subject matter experts on systems and tools to ensure training content is accurateand relevant for financial professionals, assistants and their clients.
  • Assist in the development of training collateral including presentations, job aids and other resources.
  • Utilize the learning management system to manage training and learning resources, schedule and assign training courses.
  • Participate in user acceptance testingfor new systems and systemschanges or enhancements.
  • Collaborate on internal, team-specific projects involvingsales, technology development, and operations teams.
  • Partner with growthand service officersto identify financialprofessionals, branch officesor regions who have the potential to add under-utilized tools to their practice.
  • Maintain high levels of call quality and professionalism
  • Must be self-motivated and know when to escalate or seek guidance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • 1+ year of technical and/or training experience
  • Phenomenal communication, presentation, public-speaking and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service,problem-solving, and communication skills (Positive attitude and ambition to help others) including adaptability to different personality types
  • Bachelor’s degree (Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
